Work can be stressful – Yoga can help!

It’s true that some of the ‘90s style team-building workshops are probably no longer appropriate in today’s workplace, now that more people are working flexible hours maybe from home or job sharing, but that also means it’s important to build team relationships using other methods.

Yoga is a gentle and fun way for employees to come together as it can be taught in person (physical workshops) or virtually (via Zoom or Teams) and is suitable for mixed abilities and ages. Just a 30 minute class can help to re-focus the mind and improve concentration but ideally, 45 minutes or an hour will allow for greater stress relief and relaxation as well as improved physical health – sitting at a desk for 8 hours a day is not good for our posture!
